Good morning to all on this breezy, winter Monday.
Of course being Monday it was coffee and cake morning, one of our number was pretty sick and a no show but we rallied round with good wishes for her speedy recovery.
Nothing much to tell other than my clock radio worked fine this morning - so all good there.
My patching and painting looks pretty good this morning too. Very happy with that.

Cooler and rain forecast today.
The week has not got off to a good start, the recycling bin was not put back and the cardboard bag was not emptied at all.
I blame the French, it is a French company which has the contract to collect.
We did not manage to finish the water change yesterday, that that will have to be finished this morning, starting with making more RO Water.
My morning carer is late , stuck in roadworks.

Morning all – sunny start but rain forecast for later
The local authority have recently imposed parking charges at a shopping centre so my neighbours kindly offered to show me how to get there by bus. Fairly straightforward, a problem arose when my knees started hurting – badly! When we arrived home I spent the rest of the day lying on the sofa! Still hurting this morning so I don’t think much will be getting done today
Had a phone call from my brother on Sunday – he was complaining it is too cold to go out – it was 12c! Told him since he moved to Australia he has become a wimp!
Gardener was due today but he texted me last night that he has hurt his back so won’t be able to make it.

Going into town this morning for a few errands - mini statement, make a dentist’s appointment, and someone has recommended M&S granola
Plus a general mooch round, but I’ll try to stay out of the pub
Very busy day for me today. I am rushing around trying to find things not to do. So far 100% success rate. Sent off a claim for my broken headphones so now the wait to see if they honour their warranty.
Actually a bit to hot to do anything really, one of those hot sticky days when even getting out of bed wears you out

Just come back from my walk. Today, I’m off to take Mrs G to the gym shortly, later sort out some doctors appointments. Apart from that, just see what else the day brings. I have a hedge to trim, but I don’t have the energy today, as I’m still waiting for my coffee.

Walk, shower, and breakfast done in that order…Decent enough weather with no rain in the forecast, but it doesn’t matter, I’m not going out, just catch up with the last day of the tour and I’ll have a look in the workshop, see if anything sparks my imagination…
