Morning all!
Sunday turned into a self care day. It was relatively quiet. I logged all my Black Friday specials, especially the streaming services and Google Play pass so I know when to cancel everything.
Then just had a laid back day.
Maybe today can be another one? We’ll see.

Dull & raining
Well yesterday was a disaster - after my abortive trip to do some tree planting I spent the rest of the day under the duvet or sitting around well wrapped but not doing anything useful
I feel slightly better today but I might end up doing more of the same; I’ll see how I feel when I’ve woken up…

Ah Zulu, was it health reasons then that you didn’t go, or the weather? It hasn’t stopped raining here, being every day.
I’m aborting my own plans to drive to south of the town for a few places. It can all wait a few days. I have fresh bread and milk now, and plenty of food to cook.
Shall have a rest day.
Good Morning from Foxy’s World… 
It’s chucking it down here and has been most of the night.
Didn’t do my walk this morning. Not that I mind walking in the rain, but the last time I got wet the gout came back with a vengeance and laid me low for a week.
Anyway, daughter and hubby are visiting shortly and we are off to a garden centre that has a massive christmas exhibition…She [daughter] wants some lights for her new home. I’m going for the food…
JAZZI - I have plenty of warm clothes and the weather yesterday, Sunday, was cold but dry, and I’m still fairly fit & capable so that wasn’t really a problem; but it looks like I’ve picked up a minor cold or sniffle or something like that
Not absolutely desperate, just enough to be miserable and annoying and preventing me from doing anything useful or interesting
So it looks like I’ll be spending another day sitting around, keeping warm, trying to read, and if I’m really desperate, watching daytime TV
I’m slowly coming round; I’ll have a shower later and hopefully feel better tomorrow

Work sainsburys and then home may start my new book in the series I am reading. Have a funeral of an old work colleague on Wednesday so will send a little time getting clothes sorted for that.
@zuludog Zuludog Yes stay in and one more day could make all the difference to beating this “bug” and going down more.
@OldGreyFox Oddly was speaking to my cousin yesterday and he was saying his gout plays up massievly when he goes out in the wet weather. Luckily he is self employed as plasterer and he chooses now not to take on work through the winter, they are planning on going away from 2nd Jan through to end Feb, to Florida, he says the warm weather really helps.
