Good morning Monday 16th January 2023

Morning all!

I’m starting this a bit early. I’ve given up on this day. On to the next. My stomach started hurting again yesterday.

On the positive side, my neighbors haven’t played their music this weekend due to the rain. It’s very quiet here right now.

I didn’t get as much sleep as I hoped so that’s the plan again for today.

Have an excellent day everyone.

You should get that checked.

Thanks. It’s only been twice. The first time it left quickly. I’m pretty sure it’s something I ate but I don’t know what I ate so I might have eaten it again.

Morning all.

It’s raining here too. Urgh! A definite soaking on the first dog walk then. Meanwhile she’s still in bed, so no rush.

Hi

Good morning all

We have snow.

Morning all.

Sorry to hear about your stomach problems Butterscotch, you should see the Doctor about it.

I was at Tesco at 6am this morning buying fish for Poppy, then came back home and did medications and breakfast.

Its pouring of rain, we got soaked just getting out of the car.

Have a good day all.

Good morning!

Cold & dull here; I was up early and did a bit of shopping at Sainsbury, which is on a small retail park

They’ve just opened a Tim Horton cafe on it, so I thought I’d try it; asked for a bacon butty & coffee, to be told that they don’t accept cash, only payment by a card, so I didn’t bother

It had just started to snow as I drove home

Washing laundry, shopping (bought some cheap T Shirts) and cleaning occupied my day.

I spent a couple of hours relearning how to use OpenScad to design clip I want to make.

Anyway time for bed now.

It is getting colder here. Roads flooded and cars abandoned due to driving too fast in the flood water. Traffic held up everwhere trying to get around the “dumped cars”, why do they try and got full tilt through flood water beats me
Sue has been saying the car window screen for some time has a light smearing on it even though Nissan put on new blades. So just been down to Halfords and got some Bosh “double edge” wiper blades and the guy fitting them recons the Nissan ones put on with the last service were “cheap” . Think it is down to the valet with the service, so next time no valet as the suff they use should only be for bodywork not windowscreens. Just have to see if he new blades are better, in the meantime I am waiting for a specialist product from China of all places to see if that helps.

Bright but a cold day here .
Just made 3 pot of jam with the remains of last years blackcurrants,
A doorstop of bread with luscious warm jam …yum

Afternoon good people. It was very cold this morning - I even had to resort to wearing a scarf…
But the dog loves it.

@realspeed - you can use T Cut or similar to clean traffic film off windscreens, but at the same time clean the wiper blades themselves with a cloth loaded with T Cut.

Oh, sounds yummy.
