Good morning on a lovely winters day, it is about 20° and you can feel that spring is just a few days away.
I have spent the morning messing about with batteries and solar panels. Changed one of the panels on my car port roof to see if it charges the aux battery in my car any better than the old one.
Made a quick trip down the road to the chemist because my blood pressure tablets are just about out, I just forgot to replace them.

Just back from Sports Direct as “er indoors” wanted new shoes. Waiting to pay behind a man with one leg. He asked the assistant behind the counter where they kept the pairs of flip flips.

An interesting night, starting with the longest and loudest rolls of thunder I have ever heard, but no rain here.
In the early hours I had one of my Unstable Angina Attacks, te staff could not find the key for the Controlled Drugs cabinet quickly, so I ended up a right mess.
The important thing is that I am still here.

Just been clearing up in the garden after yesterday evenings ‘monsoon’ here in the west midlands.
We had the most amazing storm between 7 and 8 pm - i literally stood in the garden watching the black storm clouds roll in, the thunder and lightening were magnificent, and as the rain started to lash down, i had to dive for cover!
Sunshine today and around 20 degrees, so not too bad.
Bank holiday weekend coming up - hope to be out in the town as we have quite a lot going on. Expecting hoards of visitors and tourists here as usual.

President Trump has really lost his mind. He now wants to rename the Atlantic and Pacific oceans as the sea of America . I don’t understand how such a mentally disturbed person can hold such an office . This is after trying to change the name of a lake in Canada and the gulf of Mexico as the gulf of America. Oh also wants to claim the Suez canal as American owned, that is on top of trying to make Canada as part of America.
Every business venture of his failed-, he pulls down part of the Whitehouse let alone being able to read and understand the declaration of Independence as seen on social media platforms. to top it all he now claims he invented/made a tapered flag pole??? 
I would love to have some of our American members explain it to me

There is simply no explanation for our representatives in Congress, Dept. heads, Justice system, or anyone else to justify what Trump is getting away with.
Sane Americans like myself are baffled, dismayed, disgusted, and downright abhor the fact no one will stand up to this lunatic. It’s beyond comprehension to us who live here.
