Hi

Good Morning Eliza and all who follow.

Unusual for Bruce not to open this thread , I hope he is ok.

I am feeling very weak at the moment, not helped by the nurses who arrive yesterday being unable to give me the injections as the correct paperwork was not here, so try again next week.

You are amazing Eliza, such an active social life.

Have a great day all.

Morning all…

Friday already! Where does the time go?

A bright and sunny day here in southern Hampshire and just about to go for my daily walk. It’s a week today before our cruise and time for the wife to start packing, starting with me to make sure my suit still fits (having lost weight) and make a list of all the stuff we need to take and shop for what’s missing. Wife still can’t decide what dresses to take or how many, not to mention shoes and everything else she wants.

Have a great day all…

Morning all – lovely sunny day

My neighbour called in yesterday to fit the seal on the shower door – as I suspected I had the wrong size! Being the star he is he has ordered the right size and it is being delivered today.

That was the good news – the bad news is that while I was shopping yesterday somebody hit my car and obviously didn’t leave their details! Fortunately it is only a slight dent but I have had the car over 15 years and there wasn’t a scratch on it – not a happy bunny!

Today’s plan is a little housework and then sit in the garden reading a book!

Take care – have a wonderful day

Hello Eliza and all, I am fine - I spent the day In Sydney with my son and, later in the day, his fiance.

I caught the 8.20 am train which was far too early to put up a Good Morning thread - probably still Thursday in the UK.

Just arrived back home - it is 8pm.

I had a lovely day, my son flew in from Darwin yesterday and met me at Central Station - I haven’t seen him since last May.

We went on the ferry to Watsons Bay and walked out to South Head, basically we looked across the entrance to Sydney Harbour. Had a burger at a pub near the wharf.

Wandered over to The Gap, a favourite spot of people to commit suicide but we went for a look at the anchor from the Dunbar which mistook the Gap for the entrance to Sydney Harbour and was wrecked on the rocks with a terrible loss of life.

Afterwards we returned to Circular Quay where we took the new metro to Chatswood to meet up with my future daughter in law, she is training at HMAS Penguin in Sydney as part of being a sea going navy medic but is marching in the ANZAC Day march tomorrow.

Took some photos but haven’t had a chance to transfer them to the computer.

Have a good one.

Take care.

Good Day Everyone… :039:
Glad to see Bruce turned up safe and well.
A clear blue sky here and it looked lovely out of the window, but the cold wind was a shock to the system as I scurried off down the street on my walk.
Once the sun got to work it turned out very pleasant and my 4½ mile walk turned into a 6 mile walk as I carried on up the canal towpath to the lock at Bramwith.
Although I didn’t do much jogging, I still feel the tuned up pacemaker is having such a good effect on my walking.
Managed to plant a few more Gladioli yesterday between sunbathing on the chair.
Finished the book and promised myself to look for some more books by the same author ‘JD Kirk’ I enjoyed this one so much.
I rang the fence bloke up, he was due to put us a fence up last February, then March, and now April, he assures me that it will be Saturday or next Saturday… :069:
