Good morning all on a day that is showing signs of spring, it was in the low 20s today which was nice.
I am late because it was the seniors’ birthday lunch today. We had a fantastic subsidised lunch at the local club with prizes and speeches.
Personally I restricted myself to four of these:
I suspect I might sleep for some of the afternoon. No need for dinner this evening.

Come to the end of our cruise. Just docked at Southampton, packed our cases and getting ready to get off. Had an amazing time and didn’t want it to end. Once off, its a taxi ride home and back to reality.

Another pleasant and comparatively cool morning. I’m just getting ready for a day trip to Brighton with my son 
We hadn’t felt like getting out and about recently due to the oppressive heat, time to make up for it!

I’m looking forward to catching up with a friend for coffee this morning, another one at lunchtime for a sit in the park, then an opticians appointment before heading home

Good morning everyone, nearly afternoon here, temperatures are going up again, went shopping in town early this morning before the big heat sets in for the day.
I’ve noticed our olive trees are already full of olives but it’s too early, they will end up falling off by the time harvest arrives in October. It will be particularly early this year but not in August, that’s for sure! Fingers crossed they will stay put. 
Tomato plants are already withering, much too hot, even for them!
Anyway, wishing you all a happy start to the weekend.
That’s the trouble with holidays, they eventually come to an end but at least the memories linger on.
