I’ve been giving both jabs a miss, since two years ago, when I’ve never felt so bad after having them. I’ll pass thank you!

I had my flu and Covid jabs back in April (or May) and I have survived them. I think my arm was sore for a day or so.

Just a bit of a sore arm from the flu jab i had yesterday which is already beginning to wear off.
No other problems to report.

Never had a flu jab don’t believe in them. Flu is a natural cause spread by the air from on infected person to another. Covid was caused by man and lack of controlled experiments

What do you mean “don’t believe in them” they are a fact, they exist, go to your local chemist and ask, they are not some kind of divine intervention they are real.

Or perhaps sent by god to punish man for his sinfulness? Now that is something you could believe in.

It’s still a killer. Notice how the deaths has fallen after vaccinations were extended.

Yes and completely voluntary.
Flu can be very nasty for people with a suppressed immune system like myself, so i’m always happy to have the flu jab.

I was interesting how flu as a disease was virtually eliminated during the two years of Covid with its regime of isolation and social distancing (and also because Australia didn’t have all those nasty foreigners bring it in to the country :icon_wink:)

Whilst away we went into a lovely Chip Shop, first time we were given a pager to let us know when the order was ready, that pager was then given to the next person and so on etc. We waited until we got back to site and washed our hands before handling the food, folks have a short memory of how things are transmitted, things can never really go back to “normal” again.

Same here Spitty, first thing I do when returning from the supermarket and pushing the trolley around after god knows who has been holding it, is wash my hands vigorously.

Yes Foxy, just think, clasp the pager in your hand, go outside and fill your face with chips. if the hand washing wasn’t an option would have used a fork (from the bottom of the container)
