Female Doctor Who

I know. Probably left it in the wrong universe or something.

Nah… it simply hasn’t tuned into her new persona yet. It’ll turn up eventually.

You are right of course, it always does eventually.

Are we talking about Mups or the new Doctor here?

I’m not sure Judd, will have to go back and check the thread title.

Oi you, smarty pants!

Good afternoon Mupsy. :-p

Oi you, what are you doing on a Doctor Who thread?

I can’t wait for next week I think Brad gets kidnapped by Fanny Chmelar.

Second episode was rather bland, I thought. They must have saved a fortune filming on the nearest beach and using bits of scorched cloth as monsters.

I thought that too. It wasn’t up to the standard of the first episode. But, she did find her Tardis.

I didn’t mind it, they are still setting the character of the new Dr and you can understand the cloth monster, putting the two extra suns in the sky must have cost a fortune.

I like her new sonic screwdriver much better than the sunglasses too they were absurd.

We all enjoyed it again it’s always good seeing reactions of characters seeing inside the tardis for the first time. Typing tardis isn’t easy auto correct keeps changing it to yard is so apologies if future posts say that :!:

I thought the second episode was a bit bland too. I also think she needs to relax a bit and speak a bit slower.

Yes, she does rattle on, non-stop. It is a bit irritating.

Yes, it was a stellar budget.

I didn’t think much of the Capaldi sunglasses either.

I caught the second episode yesterday, not as good as the first but I shall defer judgement.

Do you think she’s trying to emulate the eccentric behaviour of the first Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston after the hiatus?

I think she’s making it hers not copying anyone so far. It’ll be interesting to see if she can keep up the over excitedness though as I was exhausted just watching her.

She needs to tone the over-excitedness down a bit. It makes her seem like she’s out of her depth in situations.

Hi

She is a Yorkshire Lass, you will get used to it;-)
