An adorable disabled pup that was left in a dumpster has been rehomed in time for Christmas after being rescued and nursed back to health.
After being discovered abandoned, the tiny six-week-old, which is deaf and half-blind, was rushed to a veterinarian.
Dennis was so scared upon arrival, he couldnât even cope with a bath, so the team used damp towels to clean him up, as he was âreally, really worried by the waterâ.
His eyes couldnât focus on you very well, and he couldnât really hear what you were saying, or work out where he was.â
He would sort of go to the corner of the room or try to nestle into you in order to feel safe.
For those first couple of days, he was so shut down and so nervous, and obviously, poor Dennis didnât really have great eyesight and couldnât hear.
He was placed into foster care before finding a loving home in time for his first Christmas with new owners.
Dennis is adorable,His handicaps wonât be much of a problem,I use hand signal for my deaf dog .
I would think Dennis would benefit from having a seeing dog to help him around , but most dogs have a high sense of smell which will mark his walks .
But make the effort and you can make it.
I luv ya all to bits.
