Her own version of ‘I Will Always Love You’ was so much better than Whitney Houston’s.
She was inspirational, imo.

A beautiful person, aside from the pleasure her music gave to millions, Dolly has changed the world through massive global philanthropy, childhood literacy programs, and medical research funding

May she rest in peace

Not a big fan of country music but Dolly Parton was an actress and an amazing, intelligent woman. Some of her one liners were so clever.

She will be missed.

Being a librarian for 10 years, my favorite memory is Dolly’s donations to small children, giving free books. 300,000,000 books offered to children in America. Three hundred million, that’s correct.

What a truly lovely soul she was. RIP Dolly.

It’s because her father was so poor he never learned to read. I understand that Dolly’s book charity is international.

That’s true about her father! So poor, then so many siblings, she made a valuable contribution to so many charities, just making a difference to many lives.

Yep, she has gifted over two million books to (mainly) remote aboriginal children over the last 12 years via her Imagination Book Charity.
