Just, mainly, our economy, finance and import and export regs.
Nothing much else!

Well, Iâm glad the EU hasnât.
The UK hasnât, because the spineless bastards in Westminster wanted it that way.
Nobody has benefited because it was a mistake and there was no plan for leaving (which voters for brexit knew but ignored). You donât leave an economic unit that youâve been in for so many years and expect a good result. Wasnât this the âbumpy rideâ that was predicted as ok by those who voted leave?
Here is the last Brexit myth that Brexit fans cling to desperately. The empty thinking is that there was a great version of Brexit out there but the politicians / elite / establishment (whatever) either failed to achieve or intentionally threw it away. This is empty because there is never a list of the things that were not achieved that would have made this better Brexit. No-one ever sets out what this better Brexit would entail, it is just a myth.
I have thought for some time that the path for the UK to rejoin the EU would be a long and hard one. The pro-Brexit politicians made sure that the withdrawal agreement put in place a near complete separation and thus tried to make reversing the exit near impossible. The view that rejoining would mean signing up to all EU standards has been endorsed by some European politicians - theyâve asked why the careless UK should be given any special treatment in the future? So that would no more concessions or refunds or opt-outs, fully in Schengen and dropping sterling.
But maybe the EU can be much more pragmatic and welcoming. See what Barnier says -
because they need us as much as we need them
That was very quick and witty. Made me laugh biggly.
Why the hell should we care what Barney says?
Heâs nothing but another self-serving, corrupt, politician, the sort the Guardian loves to suck up to because theyâre not British.
Well he did run rings around the UK negotiating team.
But less about French politicians and more about you. What exactly is that better Brexit that you think was possible and was not delivered? Put some detail on that imaginary skeleton. Please.
Iâve noticed we are still getting bent bananas.
does that apply to cucumbers
You have to read the small print.
Which is also nice.
âYou really do struggle with anybody who has an opposing view to yours, donât you?â
I think this was posted on the wrong thread. My guess is that it belongs here. Here is my response as I evaded an answer on the other thread.
What I struggle with (its actually not a struggle, it is an easy reaction) are people who make a point without logic or justification. And who then, when pressed for a justification, fail to do so or resort to insults or base their justification on a false basis / flawed logic. To me that needs to be called out so that we can all see why it is a poor argument being made.
struggling to make the connection with bent bananas vs straight cumbers. But that could really be posted on any controversial thread here
Unlikely to get many straight bananas as they grow in a big bunch curved around each other!
What about the non-binary broccoli? Where do they fit in?
you will probably have to contact the ECHR for a ruling
ECHR? Surely ECVR
