As times change, fewer people are learning cutlery etiquette. I was taught most of the basic rules on this list in a class I took when I was young but didn’t learn this in school.

As long as I can get the peas on my knife I’m ok….
Honey will always doo the trick 
I eat my peas with honey;
I’ve done it all my life.
It makes the peas taste funny,
But it keeps them on the knife.
