Do you know what the saying - Like a Cat on a hot tin roof means?

It supposedly denotes a person who is in a state of extreme nervous worry. Anxious and worried.
Well, I have never seen a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof so I will change the meaning to - Non-Existent.

We use the phrase quite a bit here in the states.

Yes, I’ve seen people pacing nervously, almost tiptoeing back and forth, can’t stand the suspense of not knowing…well, you get the picture. No, I haven’t encountered a cat upon a very hot roof. One can only imagine…
