I loved curry flavoured crisps, and if my memory serves me correctly,tomatoe ketchup flavoured ones.

The little dark blue bags of salt were a good idea and I always used them, even though the salt had already been added to the recipe, anyway!

The girls at my school had a craze for shrinking crisp packets by carefully exposing them to a naked flame, probably the gas hob. I suppose early 70s crisp packets were made of a different material than today’s varieties. The point was to make them small enough to pin on to the lapels of their blazers.
Quite creative in a way.
