Create a Task in Google Tasks when a Google Calendar Event starts

A simple solution is proving difficult to find. Complicated solutions are available in expensive business software. It seems that all the software companies want to get into the “team-working from home” business, which has, presumably, expanded at a prodigious rate because of COVID lockdowns and, being professionals, they want to charge a lot for the service.

Nevertheless, I may have found a simple, maybe even cheap, solution called Remember The Milk:

Remember The Milk for Gmail
Quickly add new tasks to Remember The Milk without leaving Gmail.

ETA A useful product but no Google Calendar integration. Also, development and support on the product seems minimal so I’d guess that it’s going to “die” soon.

Back to Google Tasks, which, AFAIK, IS in the process of development.

We are very high tech in our house. We have a calendar hanging in the pantry. It’s from the local chemist , it has scenes of Australia and even tells you what to do if you are having a heart attack.

Nah, it comes natural, although I have been known to google up some recipe ideas (sub-task).
