Craziness on the road

Would anyone be honest enough to present dashcam footage that proved they them selves were responsible for an accident

It’s always everyone else’s fault :icon_wink:

They just do it for the sake of it, especially if overtaking a woman, makes them feel macho.

You get lots of that round here BV, I keep to the speed limit even if there is a BMW or Audi driver up my rectum…Which is usually the case. Unless they want to take my points a pay the fine I’m keeping to the speed limit.
There are going to be some fun and games shortly when the local council in their wisdom have decided to lower all the speed limits to 20mph…

The Council will just go stupid by putting speed bumps in, the boy racers find them a challenge.

I used to remind my teenage son, with some regularity, that this kind of situation birthed the saying “nothing good ever happens past midnight.” I’m sorry you had to deal with such unnecessary danger - especially since you were going to work.

Me either. Y’all are reminding me once again that I need one. My head is still stuck in the belief that people are trustworthy :woman_shrugging:.

Good job she didn’t get booked for speeding. Did she hand herself in?

The stupid thing is that speedos are designed to read wrong (is that English?) the design rules dictate that they read low. When my speedo is reading 119kph I am still below the legal limit of 110kph. I go by the reading on my sat nav it is far more accurate.

Where I come from, this is a speedo:

…at 119kph?

We are going to have to get a translator 'round here.

We have these digital speed boards up everywhere Bruce, and when you drive past it shows your speed. They all thank me for observing the speed limit when I’m still doing 31 or 32mph and all the traffic cops give you at least 10% above the speed limit. I suppose it’s to allow for incorrect calibration of you vehicle speedo.

It’s probably what he’ll look like when he’s 74…

They’re budgie smugglers here

Our speedometers are designed to over read, some more than others, the police usually go by 10% + 2, although it’s not a given before they issue a nip, ( notice of intended prosecution) …
