Chemotherapy - please share your experiences

Bless you Sweetie. x.

Have been away on holiday and only returned last night. Just now catching up on things.

Sorry to hear of your illness Val darlin’ best wishes for all you are about to face.

Oh, Val J, I was just thinking about you and decided to check in here to see how you are doing. I know you must feel like this is a setback, but you are saying all the right things about getting your strength up so you can press on. Good thoughts your way.

Thank you UJ and Surfermom. I can hardly believe the amount of help I’m receiving to aid my recovery. Today my GP has called, district nurse, chap to quote for a stair lift, physiotherapist and I’ve been to the hospital for blood tests! I certainly can’t complain that I’m not being looked after.

Hi Val, lovely to see you posting. I have been wondering and worrying about how you were doing.

Good luck Val.

I try to stay out of medical type threads generally - don’t know why really?

Anyhow, a few of us on here have been through chemo, me included. It’s not pleasant, but fingers crossed you’ll be ok. The tablet chemo (I had both), does not make you feel as bad as the intravenous, well not for me anyway.
I had one of those blasted pic lines in for 8 months as well.

Take care you…

I hope things improve for you, Val J.
