Every time I check mine there are multiple messages from “Jenny” asking for Rick.

It sounds like clickbait to me. I’d block Jenny from my mail for awhile.
Although, it’s a clever way to see if the email is viable and being used.

The only time I check my spam folder is if I am expecting an email and it doesn’t arrive, this is very rare but does happen, otherwise I just let the gods of the spam folder do their stuff.
