Change one letter

Dingle

Dongle

Golden
(Just rearranged them since it’s quite challenging again  )

Bolden

May I ask what Bolden means?

Its an English transitive verb = to make bold :point_right: to encourage :point_right: to embolden.
The English language is a real headache for those not born to live with it🥴

Following on from Bolden
Golden :1st_place_medal:

Thanks, Martin for your explanation.

Are we going round in circles? Golden had just been used. We need a new word, don’t we?

Then someone else needs to rethink the game and come up with another word of say 7 letters so we have more choice of changes :+1:

Good idea. I can’t imagine that anyone
would object to that. Why don’t we just do it?

In case there are not enough seven letter words we could also say that two letters can be changed.

To many letters. Dachs?

Tractor
Crater

I sent you a PM.

OK, starting again, referring to the last six letter word: Crater

Rafter

Hi to all who participate in this game. When I put this thread up I did realise that eventually we may struggle to find enough six letter words in common use so I was anticipating making an adjustment. The general idea seems to be raising it to 7 letters . I’m fine with that if it keeps the thread going. Thanks for your input. :+1:
I’ll kick off with …

Blister.

Ps. I tried to reply to your PM Dachs but it doesn’t seem to work at the moment.
