Very sad news for me.We used to have a summer’s holiday, a week in a caravan in the sand dunes(long gone)and when it rained(quite often) I’d head for the amusement arcades to spend my pennies.

Yes, that is rather sad 
I remember those old fashioned fruit machines. There was something satisfying about the mechanical grinding of gears as you pulled the lever after inserting yer copper penny! Not like the modern ones, flashing lights galore, weird and wonderful jingles and beeping noises. Wouldn’t even go near one let alone waste any money!

How sad, it’s to be redeveloped as new homes, shops and restaurants.
Soon they’ll be nothing left with any character or oozing the decadent atmosphere of the pre-tech days.

Lots of UK seaside towns used to have fun fairs.Perhaps it’s happening elsewhere?What does everyone do when it rains though?
