Bulbs - will you be planting any this year?

Has anyone ever grown Allium?..I never have, but I do love it,makes a huge statement in a garden,I’ve planted it amongst the tulips…it’s not the huge variety though, they are so expensive,so I got some small ones…tulips from Lidll, the daffodils, allium, two other packs, but can’t remember their names, got all these from wilko…I also like the primula Come spring,so will plant them amongst the bulbs.

Yes,we grew aliums this year, the small ones and the Bumbles loved them, have planted more this year along with some big ones bought at Lidl’s.

Any pictures of your Aliums?..caricature,

No,all summer I intended to but never got to it for some reason.

I’ve got my tulip bulbs but won’t plant them until next month, got 60 to go in the ground and 30 for tubs. Got 20 hyacinths for tubs to go in with the tulips. Got daffodils they go in this month and a lot of crocuses, they’ll go in small pots to plant in any spaces.
These are from last spring.

Also got wallflowers but can’t see them well

I keep these pics to remind me where the bulbs are. Don’t plant daffodils in the ground the bulbs disappear after the first year.

What a lovely garden with a great display @logan1 .

When I tried planting bulbs too many broke and not a single one ever lit up, so I gave up and leave that sort of thing to Mrs Zaphod now.

Thank you Zaphod

Like the colours Logan, we have a host of daffs to plant, the ground is surprisingly dry, a good soak wouldn’t be a miss down yer in Devon.

Thank you caricature yes it’s time to get the daffodils in this month.and the ground here is still dry under a couple of inches.

I have ordered some Iris and they are on their way…
Light ones for a dark spot and dark ones for a lighter spot.
