The more I look at that, the more I like. Depending on which is in stock I will either get this or the Bosch.
Leaning more to this, both have blade attachments which I’m more likely to use currently, and both have good reviews.
In Boschs favour, the 2 tools I have can tackle a lot, against , the cord will be tricky currently.
Ryobi, the all in one system. I really like how neat it is, plus it’s cordless, and despite never using the brand before it looks really good.
So hopefully it will be Ryobi, but depends on what’s available.
Whichever path you choose I hope you’ll be satisfied, but as I said I’ve never used this particular Ryobi model myself so I can’t speak from experience. But I am very pleased with my Ryobi strimmer.
I’m happy enough with the GTech one I bought. The only downsides I can see, because I have a large garden, are the run time is only about 30mins and the recharge time is 3½-4hrs.
Yours was probably neat already. Glad you like it!
Neat already? You have to be joking. It takes so much effort for me to wind myself up to get the mower out and cut the grass, I’m totally knackered before I even start the job .
. You make me feel better about my lazy arsed jungle out there.
My back starts to give about an hour in, makes me feel ancient!
Mower? Strimmer?
I remember a lovely, warm sunny day many years ago when we were sitting on the (slightly overgrown) lawn, Marge suggesting that we should cut the lawn. Our young, five or six year-old niece asked whether she could cut the lawn, so I gave her a pair of scissors.
She was thrilled and set about cutting the grass with them!
Young children can be very useful.
That made me howl!
I know the feeling well, so much so I have to rest with a beer:lol:
Well I laughed, though Marge told me off afterwards.
Misery-guts.
Get a sheep, don’t get a goat they’ll eat everything else before starting on the grass.
I’ve thought about that but V wants to pay for a gardener and I know I’d lose the argument.
Oh that would actually work in my overgrown garden. Everything grows like crazy here.
Wise man!
How are you getting on with you cutter/strimmer Teacup, made your decision yet?
I ordered one, but the seller wasn’t going to deliver until July, so it’s been cancelled. I will get one when the refund goes through. It’s so frustrating!
Good grief what a delay! Which make did you go for?
I actually went for the Bosch corded after all that, but now the prices have shot through the roof. Definitely the wrong time to buy!
I’ve a petrol stihl . Its a powerful beast maybe not suitable for a small garden
