I didn’t know you were a biker. :grinning:

My last and favourite was a Triumph BonnevilleT120

My first was a BSA C15.

I loved motorcycles Mr Smith, my Dad had BSA 250 Star and I used to sneak into the shed and sit on it pretending to be Mike Hailwood or Agostini.
Unfortunately, the only motorcycle I owned was this one…

Honda

I passed my test on it. We have had several holidays abroad in Crete and Rhodes where we always hired a motor cycle to tour the islands. Fortunately they were always bigger than the 50cc Honda.

Ah, I’ve gone all nostalgic now … my dad had a Honda like that.

I remember them well, they had a reputation for being rock solid and reliable, not that I’m a mechanic…

This is my last bike.
I wouldn’t be able “to get my leg over these days”

I’m a short arse…
I’d be lucky to get my leg over one of these :slightly_frowning_face:

Hope springs eternal

I’ve never ridden anything with chopper handlebars. They don’t look easy to me.

That looks like a decent machine Chilli, and one that Mrs Fox would feel safe riding behind me.
Nothing like a ‘Bird on my bike’…

Now that is a motorbike Mr Smith…I’d love to take one of those out for a spin, perhaps with Morty on the back…I can see it now…
Biking

You’re right Chilli, I bought mine brand new and ran it for two years. A couple of mates also had the same bikes, some with Honda 65’s and a couple of 90 sports. We made regular trips to the coast on them and they would run forever on a half gallon of 4 star at 45 mph max…Perhaps 50 mph down hill with the wind behind…

I don’t think that these are road legal anymore…

Quirky and fun …if you live!

Yes, the Pit Bike has back its self respect, you can’t beat giving back a piece of machinery its identity.

That reminded me of the Honda C65 Sport Chilli.
Honda C65 Sport
One of the lads had one and I loved riding it, more like a proper motorbike and it had a clutch on the handlebar unlike the Honda 50 which was semi automatic.
The friends name was Stan and he went under a lorry on that bike and was seriously injured, we never saw him again after that…

That’s very sad!
My dad used to ride motorbikes in the army on convoy duty back in Germany during the early sixties!
He told me some horror stories!
I wouldn’t be brave enough to ride one…

With the 10 day gap they will have become a tad smelly. Not the Brits most favourite flavour.
