I have managed to posted some sketches but they seem to have come out very large!

They are ok sizewise, but there are options of 50% 75%100% direct below your postings if it has been direct from your own files, or you can resize photos quite easily either with a simple programme… Muddy I can see they could be your Ancestors…

Am liking those Muddy. Am guessing they are sort of caricature, I’m getting a Jewish theme going on.
The first one, a young man, looks happy but doesn’t know what the future has in store for him.
The second can see is an older man, there is a sadness in him as if he is contemplating something.
The third is an old man I see pain in his face, it’s quite haunting.
Is this the same man going through different stages of his life?
What kind of drawing are we talking about?

@Morticia im happy for people to post whatever drawings they want or are happy to show.
Paintings also.
It’s a story concerning a holocaust surviver .The men are all different you are correct the boy was taken from an old pre war photo . The middle man just a man and the old man was a victim of the holocaust .
But it’s not about them I am just getting a feel for the story . I found it difficult to do a cartoon you have to be economical with your drawing but must try and convey the feelings of the people .
So I keep trying until something emerges that I like .

@Muddy I think you have captured a sense of suffering in these sketches.
The downturned mouth, and dark ringed eyes capture it. The hollowing of the cheeks also works.
