This will continue to decline as the years go by.
Arrived at the cricket match, payment card in hand.
“Sorry, our system is down, here is a ticket, just present it at the gate for free entry”.
Never even asked about cash, which I always carry.
Though I said nowt.

Was there face recognition or CCTV cameras lurking anywhere to spot the chap with the happy face.

Always a great day out at the cricket. The side lost and I went home before the end.
Everywhere we go there are cameras watching us, supposedly for our safety. 
I’ve been caught a few times because of outages.
Technology is a wonderful thing…until it goes wrong.
