I have just written to my MP about a notice I got from the electricity company.
Wholesale electricity prices are going down thanks to renewables so when I received a notice from the electric company telling me that there were price changes I was not surprised.
Sure enough the cost per kWh was reduced by 4c.
What I was not expecting was the nearly doubling of the daily supply charge and the 10% increase in the daily supply of off peak.
They are out to make a profit no matter what .Have you thought of getting Solar panels, they are catching on here , Roof tops are covered , any electric you dont use you can sell to them …
Solar panels are everywhere, my daughter has had a big array and a battery for over a year, she has not paid an electric bill in that time, they pay her.
