Your classification of Trump, however, falls short of the true extent of the bad things he has instigated, the corruption and self-enrichment he conducts and the horrific costs for the rest of the world that he has incurred. Swimmy, your post tells me there are so many individuals from all countries who recognize the flaws in each country.
No one country comes close to being outstanding for its views, both political and personal, as decades before us have proven time after time.
We must adjust, suck it up, hope for more intelligent and common sense opinions made into law in our future.
This is why I don’t post about other countries much, as I don’t pretend to comprehend the day to day problems that need to be sorted out for them. It is not for me to lay blame, ridicule, or think I know better than its citizens of the country.

Yes, Trump has completely hollowed out the federal election assistance commission. This is all part of the preparations he is making so that he can claim the mid term elections are null and void. This is what he will do if he cannot rig them to deliver a republican win everywhere.
The astonishing thing is that, with zero evidence, he has a significant slice of the US population believing that the 2020 election was fake and Trump actually won. With an audience that gullible then claiming any democrat win this year is also fraud will not be that hard. November is going to be messy for Americans.

Citing that separation of powers, courts have blocked most of Trump’s two executive orders that sought to reshape voting. Trump has also launched an investigation of his 2020 loss, (over 60 investigations which produced ZERO results of tampering by the courts) which he continues to falsely insist was due to fraud, and this week his administration threatened states if they did not try to purge what federal officials believe are noncitizens from their voter rolls.
By the way, I have been a trained and certified election inspector working both local and state polls (local elections of mayors, district House of Representatives, and Senators for our state), also the general elections every November). Yes, we have had one or two poll watchers over the years, never one instance of fraud, mistaken final votes, or questions concerning the final vote count in our county. I have over ten years of experience, certified.
