IAmelia Kolpa is a courageous seven-year-old from Rowley Regis, West Midlands, who is currently capturing hearts across the UK with her wish to receive 8,000 birthday cards for her 8th birthday on 3 March 2026.
Her Story and Health Journey
- Diagnosis: Amelia was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in September 2020 at the age of two.
- Treatment: She underwent 23 months of intensive treatment, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy.
- Current Status: After the cancer returned twice despite clinical trials, she is now receiving palliative care to ensure she is comfortable at home.
The 8,000 Card Appeal
To mark her eighth birthday on March 3rd, Amelia aims to break a UK record for the most birthday cards received. The community response has been overwhelming:
