The first one is creepy … but I wouldn’t call the second one cute either, look at those bony hands! The one on the right has weird pincer fingers.
You’re right: scary.
is that you and the Mrs D00d
That’s her phone that she’s holding.
OK … one phone and one pincer.
Actually …
… that one’s pretty likeable.
Here’s the original:

I’ve just realised how much I hate what the world is turning into…I think I might cash in my chips soon…
We need you to fight the good fight.
Pontificating on an over fifties forum isn’t really fighting d00d…
Who needs AI when we’ve got the real thing. ![]()
I’d put money on that being You and your daughter Surfermom…
It’s how I would imagine you both looked like…

The eyes are a dead giveaway…
Haha, neither my daughter nor me, OGF, but the beach is familiar!
That’s a tenner down the swanny…

Now you know why I don’t bet on horses, or anything else for that matter…
I had a look at AI photo editing. I asked ChatGPT to make a picture of a cat riding a bicycle and it did. After that, I couldn’t think of anything else to do with it. I can see it will take away jobs in the graphics industry though …and other jobs come to that. In the end, nobody will be earning money and not able to buy the computers needed to install the AI programs on.
In truth, Jobs needing human skills always rise up from somewhere …or have done up to now but I wonder what they will be?
What bothered me was that I was completely able to alter the background and clothing of the women in @dood’s photo in less than a minute. I even had a bikini on he girl with the scarf, but decided that it would be disrespectful if she was conservatively Islamic.
A person with nefarious intent could do something really damaging with AI photos. It’s a little disconcerting. Once this thread runs its course, I’ll delete my AI photos. Seems wrong somehow.
I had another look early … with a single click, it turned a man into a woman. I was shocked, is nothing sacred.
They already have Surfer, you only have to glance through X (formerly twitter) to see the kind of impact it is going to make, and it’s only just started.
