First there was AI art, then AI music, then AI writing. Now there AI recipes.
A YouTuber put 12 random ingredients into ChatGPT in two different sets and got one savoury and one sweet recipe from the software. Then he cooked the recipes and tried them. He said they were good.
First the artists, then the musicians, then the writers and now the chefs are all competing with AI.
What’s next?

I often wonder if systems like this are a good thing. To me, they are stripping away creativity and the necessity to learn something.

AI recipes? That’s wild! It’s amazing how technology keeps pushing boundaries.
My hunch is a lot of people will tire of AI and go back to authenticity whether it be music or cooking from a beating heart

One bank forecasts AI may replace up
to 40% of jobs. When you hear pundits saying ‘but we need more people’, be a bit sceptical
I don’t think AI will go anywhere soon.
Anyway, I would use this for cooking or baking. It would make a difference from me throwing things together in a bowl

Reminds me of this time when I was struggling to find a recipe for dinner with limited ingredients in my pantry. I stumbled upon www.mklibrary.com and found a simple yet delicious recipe using just what I had on hand. If AI can whip up tasty dishes like that, count me in for trying them out!
Well now…I am blown away!
I just asked ChatGPT to make me a meal plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner covering 7 days. It had to be healthy and fairly cheap.
Not only did it do as I asked, it also provided a shopping list of ingredients, and ideas for meal prep in advance!
Guess I’m going shopping now!
