That was a big crime when I was growing up and mostly ended newspaper kids on bikes. I would search for the missing younger adults in the Community, Give it a 100-mile diameter search for people who left about that time ones that have moved out after the terrible news first happened. It is most likely a license plate from nowhere. Maybe a Trucker. Rental, but someone the boy knew. A child predator.
