The stagecoach with the mail hasn’t reached my bit of Yorkshire yet, so who’s up for sharing…?
I had the letter 2 days ago, it said that i will get £500. They thought that i was living by myself. So hubby phoned them and their records have been updated, don’t know how much more we will get until the next letter arrives.
Having just got the state pension( first payment next week) I have discovered I have missed the qualifying date for this years Winter Fuel Payment by a fortnight.
It’s very annoying.
Being born by September 25th 1957 was the cut off….I arrived 15 days later.
Oh hum….I’ll get it next year!

Last year hubby missed it his birthday is in November.
A few weeks ago i had a letter saying that I’ll be getting £500.and hubby wasn’t mentioned they thought that i was living on my own. It also said about the cost of living payment, it turns out that it’s included in the winter fuel payment.
